Awesome cream and very moisturizing!!
This product works awesome for my skin. I am 54 and people think I’m still in my 30’s. So I don’t have any wrinkles or sagging/jowls skin. My skin is fair and I can get redness around my nose area. I live in AZ so it gets very dry. I’ve had a hard time using actives on my skin and keeping a healthy skin barrier at the same time. . This retinol alternative has become my best friend. I use the serum too. I also mix the cream with a few drops of the Herbivore Orchid oil,Emerald oil or Phoenix oil. Totally amps up the hydration for me!!

Lifesaver for acne sufferers with sensitive skin
I have extremely sensitive skin and struggled with cystic acne on my cheeks since I was about 16 years old. Now that I'm in my 20s, I'm old enough to use retinol, but my skin gets flaky and dry extremely easily with regular application. This cream has a nice, slight exfoliating effect when my skin needs a break from harsher chemicals. It's super moisturizing and gentle. You can also use it in the mornings and at night, as well as mix it with vitamin C, unlike most retinoids.

It feels very moisturizing and leaves a nice layer on the skin. When I wake up my skin feels plump and nourished.This Moon Fruit Retinol Alternative Sleep Mask is pricey but effective. I recommend it if you have similar skincare concerns.

not irritating, light fruity scent, moisturizing
I've been using this for about 3 weeks now and love the results. I don't use this daily because that is a little much but I alternate this with my night time moisturizer. I try to aim for at least 3x a week. This is basically a night time moisturizer that you apply before you sleep and wash off when you wake up in the morning. It won't leave a mess on your bed sheets as it just feels like you applied face cream. This did not irritate my skin and I didn't get any negative reaction from it. The cream has a light fruity scent to it, pleasant, not at all overwhelming. I can't say whether or not it erased any fine lines I have within the 3 week time frame as things like this will usually take time to see a visible difference but I can say that I like how this product feels on my skin and how it makes my skin feel in the morning. Nourishing Sleep Mask
I'll start this review by saying the term "Sleep Mask" is misleading. Products labelled as sleeping masks or sleeping packs are just moisturizers (or creams) intended to be used on the skin overnight. There's nothing special that distinguishes a sleeping mask from a run-of-the-mill night cream. But that aside, I absolutely love this stuff.Several months ago I started on a prescription tretinoin regimen and my skin is still slowly adjusting. I apply the tretinoin three nights a week and, on the off nights, carefully select a skincare routine to combat sensitivity, minimize irritation and deeply hydrate/nourish my skin. Once I stumbled upon the Herbivore Moon Fruit Sleep Mask, I've been using it almost exclusively (layered over the I'm From Rice Toner). It has a lovely gel-like texture that liquifies slightly as it warms up on the skin. The soft cushiony feeling lasts all night and my skin looks very refreshed and hydrated when I wake up. Although this is ostensibly a "retinol alternative," I haven't been using this as an anti-aging product but rather for it's moisturizing properties. The ingredient list reads like a stroll through the farmer's market at the height of summer (sugar maple, bitter orange, lemon, banana, orange, turmeric, basil, apple, blackberry, raspberry, eggplant, blueberry), along with some classic moisturizing actives like glycerin, squalane and sodium hyaluronate. I really love everything about this cream, even the fruity fragrance (which took a bit of getting used to).

Good sleeping mask
This New! Herbivore Botanicals Moon Fruit Retinol Alternative Sleep Mask is not my first experience with the brand, I have purchased quite a few of there products over the last few years and have mostly been very happy with there products.And this Retinol Alternative Sleep Mask is no different! The formula is a bit thicker than I was expecting but not in a bad way. It spreads on your skin like a dream and feels very moisturizing on your skin. It doesn’t feel heavy per se, but you can feel it on your skin if that’ makes sense.The only thing that I can complain about, and the reason I gave it 4 stars instead of 5, is due to the fact that this mask will pill up with a lot of other skincare I use. Pilling drives be absolutely nuts, though some people are not bothered by this. Other than that though this is a really nice sleeping mask and I would recommend it!

Great Retinol Alternative!
Herbivore is a favorite brand of mine and I will say that this left my skin oh so soft and smooth. I do not think this works well for night time layering, so I just use the Herbivore Botanicals Nova 15% Vitamin C + Turmeric Brightening Serum and then this at night. I do wash my face in the morning and go through my AM routine.Price - Higher endScent - I did not care for this scent - it smells like cleaner to me for some reason - however it fades quickly.Skin Type - I am 36 with and my skin type is - Dry, slightly combination and it tends to be sensitive on my cheeks where I have seasonal rosacea. I have some fine wrinkles around my eyes and a few broken capillaries on my cheeks. Overall my skin feels a bit rough if I do not follow my skin care routine and keep my skin properly moisturized.
