Best retinol alternative
This is my 3rd bottle of this bakuchiol serum by Herbivore. I think they changed the formula because the last two bottles I used, the serum was clear. The serum in this bottle is opaque in color. However, it's still a moisturizing and effective serum. It absorbs into my skin perfectly, and I believe that it's a great value for my money. This brand uses all natural ingredients and that's why I love it. Definitely try it.

70% Price increase in less than 6 months
I’ve loved this product, but I’m confused by the price increase. I bought it in February for $40, and now it’s $68. I understand there’s a new formula, but a $28 increase in six months feels pretty steep. This is outrageous.<br />I've attached a photo of the invoice I paid in Feb 2, 2026
