Absolutely love this shampoo and conditioner!
I really wanted to love this shampoo and conditioner set, but I have mixed feelings. The biggest downside is the price. At nearly $100, it's simply way too expensive for what you receive. The bottles are also much smaller than I expected, so I was surprised by how little product comes in the package. That said, the ingredient list is impressive. I appreciate that it contains plant-based ingredients like red clover, green tea, brahmi, aloe, and ginger root that are known for supporting scalp health and healthier-looking hair. It also has a pleasant scent and leaves my hair feeling clean without weighing it down. I have very fine hair and after using this product I don't feel like it has made much a difference in thickening, but I can't afford to personally buy more as a long term use reviewOverall, I think it's a quality product with thoughtfully chosen ingredients, but the size-to-price ratio makes it difficult to recommend at full price. If the cost were lower or the bottles were larger, I'd happily give it 5 stars.
I love this stuff! I don’t have to worry about toxic chemicals on my scalp or making my animals sick.My hair was always one of my fave features but after 40 + being on Testosterone + stress my hairline began receding further back while the near bald spot in the back of my head seemed to also be getting worse.I don’t like the idea of a lot of other hair loss treatments because of how noxious the chemicals can be.I’ve tried a lot of “organic” and holistic remedies in the past and none of them were really cutting it, plus I wasn’t great about using them as frequently as I needed to.I had a stylist recommend this brand to me and at first I was a little apprehensive because of the price but wow! She was right.Over the first month of use I noticed my hair had finally begun showing signs of new growth. I’m not 3 months in and my hair has gotten stronger and at least a little thicker.Hair is still thin in the back but, not nearly as bad. So, I’m excited to see what things will look like at the 6 month mark.
I've been using the shampoo from this line for several months and have been happy enough with it to add the conditioner, so this is coming from someone already bought into the routine. For context on my hair type: it's long, straight, and fairly fine - so conditioners are always a bit of a gamble. Anything too heavy and my hair looks oily and flat immediately after washing. This one doesn't do that. My hair feels consistent with how it does using other conditioners I trust - not noticeably softer, but not dry or weighed down either. For fine hair, "doesn't make things worse" is good enough for conditioner. On price - yes, these are expensive. But they're designed to be used three times a week rather than daily, which stretches a bottle significantly further than you might expect. When I factor that in alongside the long-term scalp and hair health benefits I've noticed, the cost feels more justified than the sticker price suggests.
This shampoo and conditioner set leaves my hair feeling cleaner, fuller, and more manageable. The shampoo gives the scalp a deep clean without leaving too much buildup, while the conditioner adds softness without making my hair feel heavy. I also like that the routine is simple and only takes a few extra minutes. Overall, it is a nice option for adding volume and making hair look thicker and healthier.
To address the elephant in the room first thing, the price point for this shampoo and conditioner set is exceptionally high for the amount of product per bottle. I was trying to determine the reason for this. There are potential hair thickening benefits with continued use over time, ideally 13 months plus. If there is a significant and noticeable improvement to one’s hair, this product may be worth it so in the end so It is a personal decision. The ingredients are a mix of well known things like green tea and aloe leaf, and ingredients like red clover and ginger root.Experience using:The process is straightforward. Use like regular shampoo and conditioner but wait 5 minutes to rinse the shampoo and 1 minute to rinse the conditioner. The scent is so good. I can’t compare it to anything I’ve used before to give more insight. It has a clean floral scent balanced by the acidic aroma of green tea and the natural lightness of aloe. I don’t know what red clover and brahmi smell like but I’m sure they add their own uniqueness. The scent stays but it’s not cloying or heavy. Not a lot of either product is needed which increases the value. Both rinsed out cleanly and completely leaving behind a soft feel. After the first use, I immediately noticed how soft and manageable my hair was. It just looked better and behaved as I wanted. Usually it looks dry and frizzy but not this time. The recommended frequency is every other day so I continued that cadence. Each wash returned very good results. My waves and curls seemed more lively and defined with no heaviness, residue, or stickiness. I would say except for the price relative to amount at 7oz each, if struggling with lack of body and knowing there is the potential to thicken hair with time, I’d recommend to consider trying at least once to see if this duo makes a difference.
