The ACTIIV Renew Travel Duo is fantastic! It really supports scalp health and made my hair look fuller and healthier. The shampoo and conditioner hydrate and nourish, perfect for healing damaged hair. Plus, they’re plant-based, color-safe, and vegan. Pleasant scent and nice results
I am normally not a fan of artificially fragranced products but this set of shampoo and conditioner is actually quite nice and mild. When your hair dries the scent is very mild and light.I have long hair so I can't say to this set lasting me that long as the box suggests of 1.5 months for 1 set. I used a nickel sized amount of shampoo on my hair and it lathered but not an excess amount which is a good size to me. I did have to use a smidge more as I wasn't able to cover my whole head and hair. It does not tingle or have any other pronounced feeling when you are shampooing. It says to leave it on for 5 minutes and then I used the conditioner.The conditioner works well and I actually didn't need that much considering I have long hair. It coats the hair nicely and I let it sit while I washed my face and what not. When it came time to wash my hair off, I noticed right away that my hair was already smoother than normal after conditioning. I normally use a tea tree based conditioner and this was definitely more smoothing.When dry my hair was smooth and felt nice to the touch. Obviously it doesn't repair in one use but to feel the difference in one application is very impressive to me. All this and it is vegan, cruelty free, and most of the ingredients I recognized. I am not sure how long this will last but I will definitely try this until it runs out and I'm excited to see how this will repair my hair.

Sample size bottles
This is a good product but it’s hard to tell if you really like it because it’s such a small bottle. It’s a sample size and that’s only going to get you a weeks worth of washes.

didn't produce drastic results, just an average set for my hair
This ACTIIV Renew Travel Duo works well for my hair. For reference, I have fine, thin, long, straight hair. My hair is color-treated with full highlights so it tends to be somewhat damaged and dry. This Renew system is targeted to treat hair like mine. It consists of 1 bottle of shampoo and 1 bottle of conditioner. These are small travel-sized bottles, each containing 2.7 ounces of product. This set is easy to use. I washed my hair following the instructions. Typically you keep conditioner on for a longer amount of time than shampoo, but the directions advise the reverse for this set. It thoroughly cleaned my hair. My hair felt soft and nourished afterward. My hair didn't look visibly fuller, and I couldn't see an obvious improvement with frizz, split ends, and breakage. The shampoo has a very light fragrance. It's a fresh, light floral scent which I didn't mind. I appreciate that this set contains natural, plant-based ingredients like aloe vera and red clover which are beneficial to hair health. This set is vegan-friendly and cruelty-free which is important to me. At the current price point of $39, this set is very pricey for only 2 small travel-sized products, though. It's definitely not a good value.

Not sure about any permanent benefits
These are small travel size bottles of shampoo and conditioner. I do think that after using my hair does look some fuller and I wonder if that due to the Guar Hydroxypropyltrimonium Chloride that is in both the shampoo and the conditioner. Whatever ingredient causes it to seem fuller afterwards I don’t notice that fullness on the days I shampoo with another shampoo. The directions say to use these products every other day. But I shampoo every day and I wonder if that is okay. Perhaps I am not supposed to wash my hair but every other day and then only use this shampoo but I am not clear about that but my hair needs washing each day. As others have mentioned this is not a low price set for the amount received. But the ingredient list has a lot of nice plant based ingredients in both the shampoo and the conditioner and that is appreciated. I like the scent or fragrance in this brand. The listing says it is green tea scented and I wouldn’t know the difference but it is a nice scent and not too strong. Each time after using these products my hair is soft but after using several weeks sometimes I feel my hair is feeling more dry that usual.
